The War in Europe: What can Psychology and Psychological Communities Say and Do?

The European Federation of Psychologists' Associations, in collaboration with the National Psychological Association of Ukraine, is organizing an online event titled "The War in Europe: What Can Psychology and Psychological Communities Say and Do?"

The event took place on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET on Zoom platform.

Program

Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine in 2022, the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations, along with many psychology associations in European countries and internationally has firmly supported Ukrainian psychologists and their work.

The event is organised to address the ongoing war and explore ways in which psychology and psychological organizations can be helpful in addressing challenges it brings in Ukraine, Europe, and around the globe.

The event will be opened by MEP Petras Auštrevičius (Lithuania), Prof. Dr. Christoph Steinebach (EFPA) and Dr. Valeriia Palii (NPA Ukraine) with contributions from Ukrainian psychologists, American Psychological Association APA, International Association of Applied Psychology IAAP, International Union of Psychological Science IUPsyS and EFPA.
