New EFPA Executive Director takes up her role

The European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations EFPA is delighted to introduce our new Executive Director, Ms. Isane Aparicio, stepping into the role with the retirement of Mrs. Sabine Steyaert, who has devoted over 20 fruitful years to our organisation.  Ms Aparicio has now been with EFPA since January 15, and has completed a seamless handover with Mrs Steyaert.

Ms Aparicio holds a joint degree in Law and Economics, as well as a Master's Degree in International Relations.

During her professional career, she has worked in various roles, ranging from small NGOs to large European and international organizations, notably on the areas of EU policy and funding. She has worked in Brussels and with the European institutions since 2009.

On her appointment Ms Aparicio said:

“I am excited to join the EFPA community, working to develop European psychology to benefit the lives and wellbeing of European citizens, and support its professionals.

“Throughout my career, I have always valued working with organizations that are driven by purpose and foster a collaborative culture. I am eager to meet everyone in EFPA’s network, and I trust that my former professional experience will help to further EFPA's accomplishments and strong foundation."

We warmly welcome her on board and are looking forward to the new projects ahead in this exciting new phase for EFPA.
