725nd Congress of Psychologists in Serbia 2024

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Congress of Psychologists in Serbia 2024, whose main topic will be Diversities and Crises – Psychology and Contemporary Challenges. The Scientific Committee has proposed this theme, believing it will be inspiring for psychologists in practice as well as researchers. It aims to attract them to exchange professional experiences and share current scientific research findings on psychological aspects of human functioning in various domains (education, work, health, social life), with a focus on the challenges brought by diversities and crises in everyday life, especially those affecting marginalized groups. This contemporary life context certainly poses a challenge for psychologists, demanding a new perspective on psychological phenomena that brings forth new insights.

As usual, the Congress program will include plenary lectures, thematic sessions, symposiums, roundtable discussions, workshops, poster exhibitions, forums, promotions, and section meetings. The Congress will also provide an opportunity for the ceremonial presentation of awards by the Serbian Psychological Society to its distinguished members. Building on participants’ suggestions from previous Congresses, we aim to enrich the program of the next event with some less formal activities through which participants can present themselves in an original way.

In line with previous years’ practices, it is planned for the Congress of Psychologists in Serbia 2024 to apply for accreditation as a professional development event for those employed in education and social care.

The Congress is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 1, 2024, in Sokobanja, at the “Moravica” hotel. We invite you to plan your participation in the Congress and consider how you can engage in congress activities, contributing to a productive professional exchange.
