EFPA participates at the YouthDMH Stakeholder Event hosted by COST Association

EFPA presented its 6 Principles for Digitalisation at the YouthDMH Stakeholder Event hosted by COST Association – European Cooperation in Science and Technology on 21st April in Brussels.

The event brought together youth-focused organisations, NGOs, industry representatives, policy-makers, and researchers, creating a valuable space for dialogue on the future of digital mental health for young people across Europe.

During the event, EFPA highlighted six key priorities to underpin societal engagement with advancing technology, rooted in psychological science and ethical responsibility.

Participants engaged in inspiring presentations, expert exchanges, and interactive discussions addressing key priorities including inclusion, digital wellbeing, evidence-based innovation, and equitable access to support. Through panel discussions and co-creation workshops, stakeholders explored how digital tools can better respond to the real needs of young people, and how stronger cross-sector collaboration can enhance impact at the European level.

EFPA’s contribution reinforced the role of psychology in shaping responsible and effective digital mental health solutions, and underlined the importance of continued collaboration between research, policy, and practice communities.
