NECs are established by EFPA Full Members and play a key role in safeguarding quality and consistency across countries. They assess whether applicants fulfil the EuroPsy requirements, including academic training, supervised practice, adherence to ethical standards, and ongoing professional development.

Specialisation within EuroPsy refers to advanced professional practice that builds on the EuroPsy standard and requires additional education, training, and supervised practice.
