UNICEF and EFPA sign a Memorandum of Understanding

The European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA) and UNICEF Europe and Central Asia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation on child, adolescent, and youth mental health across Europe.

The agreement sets out a shared commitment to promoting prevention and mental health promotion, supporting early identification and psychosocial support and advancing evidence-based policy. It also emphasizes the importance of integrating mental health considerations across all policy areas and fostering coordinated, cross-sectoral action to address social, digital, and community determinants of mental health.

A recent example of this cooperation was the joint webinar on youth mental health and digitalisation organised during European Mental Health Week 2026. If you missed it, you can watch the recording on the EFPA website.
