The General Council of Psychology of Spain submits proposals to the Ministry of Equality to Combat Gender-Based Violence
Psychological support must be guaranteed both in primary healthcare and in educational institutions to assist victims of gender-based violence and their children. This should be a priority for the Public Administration.
This was one of the key demands presented by Francisco Santolaya, President of the General Council of Psychology (COP), and Rosa Álvarez, Coordinator of the COP’s Psychology and Gender Equality Area, during their meeting with Ana Redondo, Spain’s Minister for Equality. The meeting took place on Friday, 7 February, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
