The Polish Psychological Association hosts EFPA’s Council Meeting in Warsaw

On 13–14 May 2026, the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA) held its Council meeting in Warsaw as part of the European Semester of Psychology in Poland.

The meeting brought together EFPA Full Members from across Europe. It provided a key platform for dialogue, strategic alignment and knowledge exchange among national psychological associations.

Participants were introduced to the objectives and thematic priorities of the European Semester of Psychology in Poland. Representatives of the Polish Psychological Association highlighted both the historical legacy and contemporary achievements of Polish psychologists, underlining their contribution to global psychological science.

During the Council meeting, EFPA Full Members shared updates on their national priorities, policy developments, and key challenges facing the profession. They also discussed the latest developments regarding EuroPsy, the European standard for education, training, and professional development for psychologists in Europe.

This exchange supported mutual learning and contributed to a more coordinated European approach to advancing psychology.
