11th Excellence and Innovation in Psychology Conference, promoted by the General Council of Psychology of Spain (COP) and the Ibero-American Federation of Psychology Associations and Colleges (FIAP)

On Friday, December 13, the headquarters of the Spanish General Council of Psychology hosted the 11th edition of the Excellence and Innovation in Psychology Conference.

The event was organized by the Spanish Foundation for the Promotion and Scientific and Professional Development of Psychology (Psicofundación) and the Cardinal Cisneros Higher Education Center, with the support of the General Council of Psychology of Spain (COP), the Ibero-American Federation of Psychology Associations and Colleges (FIAP), the Conference of Psychology Deans of Spanish Universities (CDPUE), and the Academy of Psychology of Spain.

Francisco Miranda Rodrigues, former President of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists, received the Gold Insignia of the General Council of Psychology of Spain.

The event featured the presence of political and professional authorities who, through their attendance, expressed support for the work carried out by Spanish psychologists. Among the attendees were Amanda Clinton, Head of International Relations for the American Psychological Association (APA), and Isane Aparicio, Executive Director of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA).
