The vibrant mind webinar : Art as a Socio-Psychological Mirror
Webinar organised by GAMIAN-Europe and EFPA.
Webinar organised by GAMIAN-Europe and EFPA.
This webinar, organised by GAMIAN-Europe and the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA) under the Vibrant Mind initiative will explore the role of art in processing collective trauma and supporting social change, drawing on perspectives from both experts with lived experience of mental health conditions and psychologists.
Together, they will discuss how art can act as a medium for healing and reflection, particularly in times of societal upheaval and transformation. Through examples such as post-conflict recovery, social movements, and historical trauma, the webinar will examine how art fosters mental well-being and raises awareness of important social issues. The discussion will also highlight the potential for psychologists to utilize art in understanding group dynamics and societal challenges.
Participants will be invited to engage with these themes and contribute to an evolving dialogue about the intersection of art, mental health, and social change.
