Launch of the new website of the Société Luxembourgeoise de Psychologie (SLP)

Given the current shortage in the psychological field in Luxembourg, it was crucial for SLP to make their website more user-friendly to better respond to the high demand for psychological support.
Considering Luxembourg's vast linguistic and cultural diversity, it was evident that the website should be accessible in four languages.
In the healthcare sector, the SLP often receives questions about the differences between a psychologist, a psychotherapist, and a psychiatrist, as well as inquiries about reimbursement. In the "For the Public" section, visitors can now find answers to these questions.
Addressing the significant issue of long waiting times for psychological and psychotherapeutic consultations, which many citizens have highlighted, it is now possible to filter the register according to the practitioner's accessibility and availability.
The scope of psychologists' work extends beyond the clinical and health sectors to numerous other professional fields, such as school and education, occupational and organizational psychology, the social field, and expert opinions in court. The new website better covers these diverse fields of psychology, with additional filters incorporated.
Last but no least, to enhance communication between SLP members, an internal forum has been added to the website.
