Free Webinar 'Climate change and sustainability in psychology education'

March 18, 2023 : 10:00 - 12:00 CET

the European Federation of Psychology Teachers’ Associations (EFPTA) invites you to take part in its spring 2023 webinar on Saturday 18 March, 10.00 -12.00 (CET), on the topic “Climate change and sustainability in psychology education”.

Free online event.

Registration required: here

All psychology educators are very welcome to join – teachers, academics, student teachers – everyone with an interest in psychology teaching at high school level.

Psychologists and psychology educators are increasingly concerned about the effects of the climate crisis on the wellbeing of young people:

  • Should all schools in Europe teach about climate change and sustainability in the core curriculum?
  • Will psychological literacy help young people to understand and cope with the challenges they will face in their future lives due to climate change?

Join our webinar to explore these questions on the role of psychology and psychology teaching in helping to address the most serious problem facing humankind.

The programme will feature a presentation by a psychologist who is an expert in the field, plus teacher-led workshops and open discussion.
