This webinar covered aspects of scaffolding curriculum and assessment of ethics throughout your programs, focus on all forms of ethics: research, practice, professionalism and the “ethical academy” (academic misconduct). The webinar included some interesting and unique ways of developing curiosity and discussion amongst your students to increase engagement with association ethical codes and morality. The main goal is for students to move away from the mentality that ethics is just ethical approval and a tick box exercise.
Dr Rosalyn Collings is a principal lecturer and Head of Psychology within a post 92 UK University. Roz is the Chair of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Ethics Committee, Chair of the BPS Challenging Histories group, and a member for European Federation of Psychologists Associations (EFPA) Ethics Board. Roz has been teaching and assessing ethics in Psychology and multiple associated disciplines for over 20 years and has a passion to raise levels of curiosity around all things ethics so that it will never be considered just a tick box process.
