Changes in the Board of Directors of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations AISBL (EFPA)

EFPA announces that consequent on the mandates of its current President and Vice President Finance coming to an end, the EFPA General Assembly held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, elected a new President and Vice President Finance, and also elected two Other Directors. The changes in the Board of Directors will take effect on 14 July.

The following were elected:

• President: Sofia Marques Ramalho Ramos Duarte (Portugal)
• Vice President Finance: John Francis Leader (Ireland)
• Other Director: Lotte Marie De Schrijver (Belgium)
• Other Director Valbona Treska (Albania) was also elected to fill a two year replacement mandate.

Vice President Governance Ole Tunold (Norway), along with Other Directors Caterina Arcidiacono (Italy) and Robertas Povilaitis (Lithuania), continue in their mandates until 2027.

EFPA extends its heartfelt thanks to the outgoing President: Christoph Steinebach and Vice President Finance: Nicola Gale for their dedicated service and the significant contributions made during their mandate.
