About EFPA

EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations AISBL)  is the European federation representing national psychologists’ associations across Europe. It promotes psychology as a science, education, and profession, develops professional standards including the EuroPsy certificate for harmonized qualifications, and advocates on key issues such as mental health in Europe, climate change psychology, and digitalisation.
 
EFPA also supports the European Congress of Psychology and works on EU projects to advance the field across the continent.
EFPA is a non-governmental organisation in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since 2017.
EFPA have two membership categories: Full Members and Associate Members.

European Congress of Psychology

The European Congress of Psychology (ECP) aims to promote the dissemination of psychological knowledge, to develop a clear image of psychology and make it accessible, useful and respected. 
The ECP is organised every two years by one of EFPA’s member associations in coordination with EFPA.

European Semester of Psychology

The European Semester of Psychology is aimed at creating a common space in which European psychologists can interact and communicate so as to foster the sharing and transmission of knowledge and expertise between members and, in turn, to stimulate the ongoing development of a truly European identity among psychologists across Europe.
