News - Single Market Month 2013 - Psychologists can speak up!

Between 23 September and 23 October 2013 the EU will organize on-line debates on the Single Market in which all citizens can participate.

This offers and excellent opportunity for psychologists from the 28 EU countries to share their experiences, views and suggestions with Members of the European Parliament, EU Commissioners, Members of the Committee of the Regions, the Economic and Social Committee, and experts who all belong to “Brussels”.

They have committed themselves to actively participate in the debates, take on board the ideas and experiences presented, discuss them, and respond directly to participants – all with the purpose of making the Single Market a reality from which all European citizens can profit.

The EFPA EC encourages Member Associations and individual psychologists to take part in these debates, putting in their ideas about how the Single Market could be of greater benefit for psychologists.

There will be four debates, one per week on a different theme. The debates will take place in 24 languages simultaneously. The four themes are:

  • “Working and doing business in Europe” - Jobs
  • “Your social protection rights in the Single Market” - Social rights
  • “Europe, the Banks and You” - Banks
  • “Buying, selling, and communicating online” - E-commerce.
