Invitation to 4th EFPA symposium on professional Ethics - Prague, October 1-3, 2010

Message on behalf of Pierre Nederlandt Convenor of the SC ethics The EFPA Standing Committee on Ethics hereby invites you to the 4th Symposium on Professional Ethics to be held on October 1-3, 2010 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Dear Colleagues, 

Place :

The symposium is hosted by the Czech Moravian Psychological Society in cooperation with the Union of Psychological Associations – Czech Republic and will take place at the Academy of Sciences, Narodni 3, Prague. 

Goal:

Goal of the SC Ethics Symposia in Prague is to network psychologists interested in ethics and to disseminate knowledge and experience on handling ethical issues in science and professional practice. 

Topic of 4th Symposium:

Teaching professional ethics and training in ethical problem solving

Format:

Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and challenges on the topic. Group discussions will be arranged as well as plenary discussions and summaries. All EFPA member associations are invited to be represented by one or two members and encourage participation. The symposium will be of interest to colleagues who are active in teaching or training on ethical issues, ethical boards or similar committees. In agreement of your Association, colleagues from universities and other relevant institutions are also welcomed to participate.  

Attendance:

There will be a limit of participants. Registrations are requested to be sent to Jindriska Kotrlova by stating name, email address and association.  A short note about your field of activity and any specific involvement with ethical issues is welcomed.  

Registration fee:
