Aristotle Prize 2009 awarded to Professor Claus Bundesen from the University of Copenhagen/Denmark

The Aristotle Prize 2009 has been awarded to Professor Claus Bundesen from the University of Copenhagen/Denmark during the Opening Ceremony of the 11th European Congress of psychology on July 7, 2009 in Oslo.

The prize has been awarded by the President of the Hellenic Psychological Association Prof. Marina Manthouli and Vassiliki Boukouval representing the Greek Association of Psychologists at the magnificent Opera House of Oslo, right on the Oslo Fjord.

The Chair of the Aristotle Prize Selection Committee and EFPA president Roal Ulrichsen stated that Professor Bundesen is very recognized internationally and has made a substantial and original contribution to the psychological study of visual cognition.

Bundesen’s publications include articles in top journals and he has presented widely at national and international congresses. In addition to his extensive publications and presentations at scholarly meetings and congresses, Bundesen has contributed to Danish, European and American psychology through formal leadership.
