Big Data in Psychology/Research Synthesis: Online Conference, May 18th-21th / Call for Papers

 Dear colleagues,

In 2021, the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID) will present its third Twin Conference that integrates two essential fields of rising relevance:

  • Big Data and 
  • Research Synthesis. 

The conference will take place from May 18 until May 21- due to the Corona crisis as an online event.

The conference is devoted to research addressing methods and applications of research syntheses (including systematic reviews and meta-analyses), as well as Big Data analyses (including large data sets, intensive longitudinal data, and machine learning) in psychology and related fields. 

 Invited keynote speakers for Big Data are:

  2. Carolin Strobl, University of Zurich, Switzerland
  3. Manuel Voelkle, University of Berlin, Germany
  4. Charles Driver, Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Germany

 Invited keynote speakers for Research Synthesis are:

  1. Avi Kluger, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel
  2. Frank Renkewitz, Helmut Schmidt University, Germany
  3. Gerta Rücker, University of Freiburg, Germany

Selected presentations will be invited to submit their research to the topical issue.
